About Workshops Marfa
Workshops Marfa was created by Clara Williams in order to share knowledge and experience with others. Clara is a professional artist who works across various media (painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, and large-scale public art work), depending on the particular project. Clara has a BFA from the School of Visual Arts and an MFA from Yale University. Clara is a Guggenheim Fellowship recipient, in addition to receiving many other prestigious awards. She has extensive teaching experience, as well.
For more than 12 years, Clara owned her own organic skin care business in New York City. Those products were sold in Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Henri Bendel, Credo and many other boutiques and spas across the US. The line of products was also carried in Australia, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Canada. Clara formulated her entire line of organic soaps, face oil, body balms, scrubs, acne treatments, candles, dry shampoo, and so on.
Clara likes encouraging others to explore their own creative sides. To this end, she keeps class size small in order to facilitate one-on-one interaction.
We'll be adding additional workshops over time. If you have suggestions for a workshop you'd like or would like to be an instructor with us, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org .
We look forward to meeting you. Bring your friends, too.
